Facilities Manager- Grace Church Roseville, MN

Facility Manager of Grace Church Roseville since 2003, early member of the Minnesota Association of Church Facility Managers and the Membership Committee.  Following a major expansion at Grace Church I was provided the unique experience and resulting perspective, as its first facility manager, to develop the position and its associated operations.  MACFM proved to be a great network for me in doing this.  I really appreciate the organization for the resource it has been with the sharing of expertise in casual conversation, vendor contacts, presentations, and shared problem solving.  I also appreciate MACFM for the camaraderie and professionalism it brings to our unique niche in this field. Just prior to Grace my experience I was in operations development and management for a national retailer. This included the development of back office systems, the training of franchise owners and corporate managers, and acting as liaison between the office and the field. I also hold a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Minnesota. But that is part of a much larger story for another time. Out of work you will find me pursuing art, all things outdoors, as well as cross cultural opportunities. My wife and I have lived in St. Paul for 25 years and have two adult daughters.

Facilities Manager - Riverside Church, Big Lake, MN

I’m Josh Euerle. I grew up in rural Wisconsin. In 1991, my family moved to Dallas TX where I lived for 9 years before moving back north to Minnesota. I graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas TX. My wife and I served for 3 years as Youth Pastors small church in Duncanville, TX, and then I became a high school teacher for 2 years at Christ for the Nations Academy in Dallas, June of 2000 my wife and I moved back "up north" to Monticello MN. We both love it up here: the four seasons… the many lakes on… the snow at Christmas time… etc… In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, hanging out with friends, hunting, fishing, hiking, gardening, woodworking, watching movies, and sports; and pretty much anything having to do with the outdoors In December of 2004 I began working for Riverside Church. It has truly been a pleasure to serve at a church where God is moving and growing His kingdom! I was referred MACFM a few years ago by my executive pastor. He told me that it might be a good organization to get involved with… he was right. Over the past few years, have had the privilege of being a part of the MACFM. This organization has helped me become a better facilities manager. The relationships I have formed other facilities managers and vendors have been invaluable. It has been exciting to see this organization more than double in size since I have become a member, and I am looking forward to seeing it continue to grow.

Director of Building and Grounds - Trinity Evangelical Free Church, Lakeville, MN

Dave has worked in church facilities ministry for 22 years, for three different congregations, as custodian, building engineer and presently as Director of Building and Grounds at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Lakeville. Dave also holds the titles of Systems Maintenance Technician and Systems Maintenance Administrator from the Building Owners and Managers Institute as well as holding top honors from the College of OJT. Dave became a member of MACFM about six years ago after hearing of the group from another member. Being able to associate with others who are doing the same kind of work and dealing with the same issues has been very encouraging, and the support from the various vendors priceless. The fellowship is also wonderful and the monthly meeting a highlight of the month. Dave and his wife Barb are parents to four (supposedly) grown children, two and a half grandchildren and live in Lakeville. They have been members at Trinity EFC for about 14 years.

Facility Manager Manager - Wooddale Church, Eden Prairie, MN

I’ve been the facility manager of Wooddale Church since the summer of 2013 and have spent much of my career in construction and manufacturing before becoming a Facility Director at “Zwireless”, a nationwide Verizon cell phone retailer, and a facility manager for Wooddale Church.  I received a BS degree in Business Administration from Minnesota State University  in 1994, and an MA degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University in 2000.  I was a Military Policemen in the Marine Corps Reserves for six years (1988-1994).  I also served in the Navy Reserves as a Seabee (naval construction) at the MSP Naval Air Station (formerly known as NABSU 0196), working in the “Public Works/base support”  dept. from 1998-2001.  I’m the proud father of Luke and Samantha and have been married to my wonderful wife since 2004.  I have lived in Iowa and South Dakota but grew up in Bloomington Minnesota.  I now reside in Chanhassen.  I learned of MACFM almost immediately upon joining Wooddale Church staff and have enjoyed getting to know the MACFM members and building a new network of great friends, colleagues, and professionals passionate about serving Christ.

Business Development Manager - General Dynamics

I spent the first ten (10) years of my career as a police officer with the City of Bloomington. I worked in the patrol, communications, juvenile and investigation divisions. I then accepted a Corporate Security Director position with General Dynamics, an international defense contractor. In charge of United States Operations, I was responsible for meeting the Department of Defense physical security standards; employee and visitor security clearances and investigations. Upon retirement from General Dynamics I moved into security consulting and sales. I am presently employed by UHL Company as a Business Development Manager in the Security and Fire Division responsible for providing card access, video surveillance, intrusion and fire alarm systems. I have been involved with MACFM for several years. It is a pleasure to work with each of the MACFM church members. I am humbled to be able to enjoy the Christ centered fellowship during the monthly meetings with church and vendor members alike. I have been active in several of the service projects and participate in these opportunities annually. It has been a privilege to represent the vendors as a Co-Chair for the 2102 MACFM EXPO. Being elected to serve as the Vendor/Affiliate Council Representative is truly be an honor.
