 A letter From the President:

On behalf of the MACFM (Minnesota Association of Church Facility Managers) members I welcome you to our website.  The association was established in 2003 with a goal of creating an organization where facility managers of all Christ Centered faiths could come for fellowship, networking and professional development through ongoing meetings, shared work experiences and training opportunities.

We appreciate your interest in MACFM, we meet on a monthly basis with like peers, who are willing to share experiences and knowledge and are open to learning from one another. One of the great practices we have is to hold our meetings at a different Church site each month and the opportunity to tour the host church, getting first hand exposure to the different architectural styles, sizes and ages of the church facilities and its equipment, able to listen and see first-hand the challenges we all share in serving our Church Community.   

All our activities, as great as they are, revolve around Christian Fellowship and the opportunity we have to uplift and encourage one another in our service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Woody Franklin, President
a retired Marine after 30 years of service, with an additional 16 years experience as Facilities Director in the public school environment .  Woody resides in Eden Prairie with his family and has been Facility Manager of Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN since 2002.

Ken Reineccius, Vice President
Ken spent 26-years as an aircraft mechanic prior to becoming Director of Operations at Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie, MN in 2005.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technologies and an MBA for Faith Based Organizations.  Ken and his family live in Eagan, MN.

Keith Koenig, Past President
A Minnesota native with 14 years in the naval construction force “Seabees” plus he has 28 years in facility management with public schools and church environments.  Keith and his family reside in Richfield, MN Keith is Property Manager for 3 different churches and Camp Ojibway located on Rice Lake outside of Eden Valley MN.  His full time position and office is at Hope Presbyterian Church in Richfield, MN.

Kurt Oestreich, Treasurer
A professional within the automotive dealership marketplace for 12 years, Kurt's experience ranged from service technician to general management.  He resides with his family in Farmington, MN and has been Director of Facilities at Prince of Peace in Burnsville, MN for 6 years.

Rick Lamothe, Secretary
retired from restaurant ownership after 26 years the business.  He now works part-time as a janitor building manager at United Methodist Church been there since 2004. Rick lives in Eden Prairie and has 4 grandchildren.

Mike Fodstad, Associate Vendor Member  with over 19 years experience in commercial building HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire, Security and Access Control service solutions.  Mike and his family reside in Maple Grove and he is employed at Egan Companies, Brooklyn Park MN as its Service Sales Manager.
